These drawings began after George Alamidis experienced a cardiac arrest and a long period of recovery. Unable to work with the physical demands of studio materials, he turned to digital drawing — and the feather became a fitting subject: light, precise, and quietly symbolic. Each feather is drawn with care and restraint, emerging as a meditation on fragility, impermanence, and the body’s limits. What began as a way of staying connected to practice became one of the most refined and resonant series in Alamidis’s work.
